A terrifying morning for primary school teachers heading to SK Pangi turned dramatic on Tuesday (March 3) when the brakes of their train failed along the hilly Tenom–Pangi railway line.

Quick-thinking villagers placed a “motorcycle trolley” on the tracks, bringing the train to a halt and preventing a potential tragedy.
