Russia rains down Kyiv with drones and missiles in largest strike in recent weeks

Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles at Ukraine's capital Kyiv in the early hours on Thursday (July 2), tearing apart residential buildings and killing at least 18 people.

Kremlin defended that the strikes were exclusively carried out against military-related facilities, saying that they will keep pressuring the Kyiv regime in order to achieve their goals.
