Russian police detained at least 1400 people at anti-war protests that took place in 51 Russian cities on Thursday (Feb 24), the OVD-Info protest monitor said, after Kremlin launched a massive military operation against Ukraine.
The OVD-Info monitor has documented crackdowns on Russia's opposition for years.
