Sabah, Sarawak may have to wait 60 years for equal shot

De facto law minister Datuk Liew Vui Keong said on Wednesday that Sabah and Sarawak may have to wait for decades for another chance at restoring their status as equal partners in the Federation of Malaysia.
On Tuesday, the Federation Constitution Amendment Bill had only garnered 138 votes, 10 short of the two-thirds support of the Dewan Rakyat, after 59 MPs had abstained.
