Salesman claims trial to human trafficking charges

A 22-year-old salesman, Vincent Sak Zhan Sheng, was charged at the Johor Baru Sessions Court on Wednesday (Nov 26) with trafficking three individuals for labour exploitation.
He pleaded not guilty before Judge Hidayatul Syuhada Shamsudin.
Sak faces a charge under Section 12 of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007 for allegedly trafficking a 26-year-old man through deception, as well as two additional charges under Section 14 for trafficking a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl.
