Taking only 18 months to build through a joint venture with a Malaysian company MTD Capital Berhad, the sprawling new complex in Tarlac, the New Clark City Sports Hub, is considered the crown jewel of the 30th SEA Games in Philippines.
The 9,500-hectare development includes a 20,000-seater athletics stadium, a 2,000-seater aquatics center, and an athletes' village with commercial banks and restaurants.
