Second reading of IPCMC Bill postponed to next year

The government has decided to defer the second reading of the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission 2019 (IPCMC) Bill to the next Dewan Rakyat meeting.
Amendments were expected to the Bill which was supposed to be tabled by Ramkarpal Singh, who heads the Parliament Special Select Committee on Bills consideration.
The decision to defer the Bill to the Parliament meeting next year was read out by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Liew Vui Keong on Tuesday.
