Selangor Budget 2025: State govt to continue boosting Indian community development, says MB

The Selangor government will continue its efforts towards the state’s Indian Community Education Development initiative under the Selangor Budget 2025.
When tabling the budget on Friday (Nov 15), Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari said the state will allocate RM1.185mil to ensure the interest of the B40 Indian community is looked after.
Amirudin said Indian B40 students pursuing studies at public and private institutions of higher learning will receive aid up to RM5,000 for a bachelor’s degree course and RM3,000 for diploma courses which will be given on a one-off basis and paid directly to the respective institutions.
