Selangor Women Development and Social Welfare Committee chairman Anfaal Saari said at the state-level International Women's Day celebration on Sunday (March 16) that the government had lined up various programmes to address the issue of “motherhood penalty” faced by women who are discouraged to pursue their aspirations due to their motherly duties.
