Selangor Sultan urges MACC to investigate graft cases thoroughly

Selangor's Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has urged the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to conduct a thorough investigation into graft-related reports involving all parties to rid the state of any corrupt practices.
The Selangor Ruler said that when opening the Fourth Meeting of the 14th Selangor State Legislative Assembly on Monday (Aug 23) and said he hoped that the perpetrators would be brought to justice and if convicted, should be punished with severe penalties to convey the message to the people to reject corruption.
