Socio-Economic Research Centre (SERC) executive director Lee Heng Guie urges a national investment plan is needed due to falling private investment growth in Malaysia since 2012. He expects the country's economic growth to pick up in the second half of 2019 (2H19) due to private consumption growth and better sentiment among businesses.
