Perikatan Nasional has pick Nibong Tebal PAS vice chairman Abidin Ismail as the candidate to contest the Sungai Bakap by-election.

The 56-year-old former personal assistant to the late Nor Zamri Latiff was announced as the candidate by PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man at Bandar Tasek Mutiara, Nibong Tebal, Penang on Saturday (June 15).
