Sg Kim Kim pollution: Wang, Yap plead not guilty to a further 15 charges

Two directors of a used tyre-processing company have been slapped with more charges for polluting Sg Kim Kim at the Johor Baru Sessions Court on Monday (March 25).
Both Wang Jing Chao,34, a Singaporean, and Yap Yoke Liang,36,pleaded not guilty after the charges were read before Judge Jailani Rahman.
They were alleged to have committed the offence at P Tech Resources Sdn Bhd in the Tanjung Langsat industrial area on March 12.
On Sunday(March 24),Wang and Yap, together with the company’s lorry driver N.Maridass were charged for dumping chemical waste into Sungai Kim Kim and not pleaded guilty to the charges against them.
