Shahrol: Communications with PMO led me to believe JV signing would take place

Former 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) chief executive officer Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi told the High Court on Thursday (Aug 27) that he believed fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho’s information about a proposed US$2.5 billion (RM10.06 billion) joint venture signing ceremony between 1MDB and PetroSaudi International Ltd, due to early communication with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in 2009.
