Shift mindsets and embrace new technologies, KSN urges civil servants

Civil servants have been urged to shift their mindsets and embrace new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, and big data.
At the launch of the 3rd National Research Conference on Governance, Integrity, and Anti-Corruption on Thursday (Sept 26), Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar noted that while such technologies could help reduce bureaucracy and improve delivery service, they carry risks of misuse.
Shamsul also addressed the ongoing crisis of trust and confidence in the public service, calling on all members of the civil service to work together in ensuring good governance founded on accountability and efficiency.
