Singapore Airlines passengers mainly treated for spinal injuries, says Thai hospital

A Bangkok hospital official said on Thursday (May 23) that 40 people aboard the Singapore Airlines flight that hit severe turbulence were still receiving medical treatment, with 22 people having sustained spinal injuries and 20 remaining in intensive care.
Adinun Kittiratanapaibool, Director of Bangkok's Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital said that there were also six people with brain and skull injuries.
