Singapore PM says he has decided to call a general election, polling day on July 10

Singapore's prime minister Lee Hsien Loong said on Tuesday (June 23) he had advised the city-state's president to dissolve parliament as he had decided to call a general election.
He said the decision comes as the city-state was in a stable position with regards to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The nomination day for the vote will be June 30, with polling day to be held on July 10.
