"Six gruelling years" - Syed Saddiq vows to fight on after verdict deferred

Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman says he will keep fighting to clear his name after the Federal Court deferred its verdict on his acquittal appeal to July 13, following a judge's medical leave.

"I was hoping that there would be finality today, especially after six gruelling, to some extent, gruesome years of pursuing that very own justice," he said outside the Palace of Justice on Tuesday (June 30), adding he respects the court's decision and remains committed to seeking justice through due process.
