In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers, parents and students are doing their best with online schooling.
For students from low-income and marginalised families, digital lessons are extremely challenging without mobile devices and internet access.
Describing this as a serious digital poverty issue, social activist Hayati Ismail and Sikh Women’s Awareness Network or SWAN are appealing to individuals or corporations alike for used or new laptops or tablets for these underprivileged children.
