Social media providers must apply for licence by Dec 31, says Teo

Social media platform providers have been urged to register their service licences promptly ahead of the enforcement of the Class Licence for Application Service Providers, which takes effect on Jan 1.

Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching emphasised on Friday (Dec 27) that the deadline for licence applications is Dec 31.
