Clad in green, some 30 volunteers and participants of the ‘Solidarity for Peace March’ on Saturday helped to clean up rubbish at the streets along Jalan Raja and location near Dataran Merdeka.
The Pertubuhan Pemuda GEMA Malaysia president Taufik Aziz said this was important to cultivate good behaviour among Malaysians, and was also one of the way they show their support to the event.
The event was held to demonstrate Malaysians’ solidarity with victims of the Christchurch attach on March 15, and rejection of extremist ideologies.
