Special fund set up to provide immediate disaster aid

A special government fund to give immediate aid to the needy, especially during disasters and calamities, is now available.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail launched the special fund, Tabung Prihatin Yayasan Kebajikan Negara-Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (YKN-JKM) on Monday with an initial capital of RM100,000.
