Special mediation centre to be set up to help resolve Covid-19 related contractual disputes

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said a special mediation centre will be set up to help resolve disputes of contractual obligations cannot be met because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He added that the government would bear the cost of the mediation if done through the centre for a period of one year starting October 1st 2020 to September 2021.
The Kota Bahru MP said this when tabling the Temporary Measures for Reducing The Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Bill 2020 for its second reading on Tuesday (August 25).
