Sudden boom, recall passengers aboard Air Canada plane during crash

Authorities on early March 23 morning said 32 of the 41 passengers aboard an Air Canada Express flight were released after the aircraft collided with a fire truck during landing at New York's LaGuardia Airport, killing both pilots, injuring dozens, and prompting the temporary closure of the airport.

Passengers described the scene as chaotic, saying that they woke up in shock and several of them hit their heads against the seats in front of them during the collision.
