The joy for two robbers who got away with RM231,000 was short-lived after they were arrested two weeks later.
The arrests also led police to 10 others, including a 62-year-old mastermind.
Penang deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Roslee Chik said police were investigating the case for armed gang robbery and/or possession of live ammunition without a permit.
