Suspicious object in George Town not a bomb, confirm police

Police have confirmed that the suspicious object resembling a bomb found in Bandar Sri Pinang near Karpal Singh Drive is not an explosive.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Rozak Muhammad on Thursday (Jan 9) said the object was found to be made of paper, wire, and cement but did not contain any explosive substance.
