Taxi driver's application to delist LTTE as terrorist group dismissed

The Kuala Lumpur High Court on Thursday dismissed an application for a judicial review by taxi driver V. Balamurugan to delist the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) as a terrorist group.
Judge Mariana Yahya dismissed the application after finding that it was filed more than three months after LTTE was gazetted as a terrorist group.
The court ruled that the application should have been filed within three months of the LTTE being listed as a terrorist group in 2014.
