Temple prayers in recovery and conditional MCO areas only allowed on first day of Deepavali

There will be no “balik kampung” travel for those in conditional and enhanced movement control order (MCO) areas to celebrate Deepavali this year, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Senior Minister (Security) on Thursday said those celebrating the festival in these areas are allowed to attend special prayers, but only on the first day of the celebration, with strict standard operating procedure (SOP) in place.
