Teng: No need to compensate if tunnel plan scrapped

Penang Barisan Nasional chairman Teng Chang Yeow said Barisan need not pay any compensation if the controversial undersea tunnel project was scrapped.
Teng was responding to Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng who said on Monday that the move to cancel the Penang Undersea Tunnel project was irresponsible, as it is baffling how they would pay the compensation to the private companies if they cancel the project.
