China's car company Chery's decision to establish an assembly plant in Shah Alam, Selangor, disproves claims that Malaysia's automotive supply chain is not cost-effective, said Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.
At the launch of Chery's assembly plant on Tuesday (June 18), the Investment, Trade, and Industry Minister remarked that the new facility symbolises not only an expansion of Chery's operational capabilities but also their unwavering commitment to producing technologically advanced and affordable vehicles.
