Teraju to study 51% bumiputra equity in local freight forwarding companies, says Finance Minister

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said the Bumiputera Agenda Steering Unit (Teraju) is conducting a study with regard to the issue of 51% bumiputra equity in local freight forwarding companies.
He said this in response to a question raised by Anthony Loke (PH-Seremban) in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Sept 28).
Loke urged the government to review the policy as it could lead to "Ali Baba" practices and was also against the spirit of the Malaysian Family concept.
