Terengganu could benefit most if govt introduces carbon tax, says Rafizi

Terengganu is poised to reap the greatest benefits from Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) technology, thanks to its existing infrastructure, says Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli.

During his winding-up speech on the Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage Bill 2025 on Thursday (March 6), the Economy Minister stated that the introduction of a carbon tax would attract heavy industries to establish factories in areas such as Kerteh and Kemaman.
