Thailand-Cambodia peace talks begin in Putrajaya

A special meeting between the leaders of Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia officially began at 3.15pm on Monday (July 28) at Kompleks Seri Perdana in Putrajaya.
Chaired by Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in his capacity as Asean chair, the closed-door session is attended by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Thailand’s acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai.
The meeting is aimed at de-escalating border tensions between the two Asean neighbours.
