Thailand offers wealthy foreigners special residency packages

The Thai government is wooing wealthy foreigners with an exclusive residency offer in an attempt to capitalise on the immigration surge.
Thailand is presenting these foreigners with seven different packages to choose from, with the “Elite Ultimate Privilege” being the most expensive at $60,000.
This package offers them 20 years of residency in the country, work permits, a driving license, VIP access to government immigration agencies and a state-sponsored concierge.
Additionally, the government also plans to provide “Elite Ultimate” residents annual checkups at a private hospital, 24 spa treatments and golfing trips.
According to a report from Business Insider, Thailand is also offering a $15,000 package called “Elite Easy Access” that gives foreigners five years of residency as well as a $10,000 package for 10 years of residency.
