An Indonesian doctor runs a facility that shelters more than a thousand dogs, many which were rescued from slaughterhouses with their mouth and legs tied, abandoned or sold during the coronavirus pandemic.
Susana Somali, the shelter owner, has launched a herculean mission to end the country's long-criticised dog meat trade.
