The recycling myth and a broken system

Ever since China banned most imports of plastic wastes to the country, many Southeast Asia countries have jumped in to fill in the gap, and Malaysia was no exception.
Greenpeace Malaysia revealed in their ‘The Recycling Myth’ report that the international waste trade system is broken, where only 9% of plastic waste has actually been recycled.
