The Story of Malayan Indians and the Death Railway

Penang Hindu Association (PHA) and Kuala Lumpur-based Death Rail Interest Group (DRIG) held a public talk and exhibition on World War 2 Death Railway. Titled ‘The Story of Malayan Indians and the Death Railway’, it highlighted the story of the Malayan workers and the horrors they faced while building the railway, whose construction started in June 1942 and was completed by October 1943.
