Kiteboarding, also known as kitesurfing, is a sport where one rides on a board and controls a kite such that he or she is propelled across the water.
Kiteboarding is set to make its inaugural bow at the next games in Paris. There are about 400 kiteboarders in Singapore and the Kitesurfing Association of Singapore (KAS) hopes to grow the sport locally, and develop an elite field of kiteboarders in Singapore.
