Ticketing server crash due to overwhelming demand, says KTMB CEO

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) chief executive officer Datuk Kamarulzaman Zainal said with many upcoming holidays and festival season, the “overwhelming demands” for ETS tickets caused its ticketing servers to crash on November 18th.
He said KTMB was taking steps to ensure its servers were capable of handling massive user traffic in the future.
He said this when making a public apology during a press conference at Kl Sentral, Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
