Time to increase allowances for firefighters, say lawmakers

Lawmakers are calling for the allowance for firefighters to be increased, the Dewan Rakyat heard on Tuesday (Nov 26).

Bentong MP Young Syefura Othman said the current allowance was not enough to meet the dangerous nature of their job.
