Tinted love: New policy allows fully darkened rear windows and windshield

Motorists can now tint their rear windshields and passenger windows as dark as they want under new regulations which come into effect tomorrow.
According to Transport Minister Anthony Loke, the changes are in line with the United Nations Regulations on safety glazing materials installation on vehicles (UN Regulation No. 43).
Those who want all windows fully tinted for security reasons will have to pay RM5,000 for a permit.
