Tokyo Games women’s 100m: Azreen sprints to personal best in heats, fails to qualify

Malaysian sprinter Azreen Nabila Alias made an immediate impact in her Olympics debut by clocking a personal best of 11.77s in the women’s 100m qualification round in Tokyo, Japan on Friday (July 30).
The Terengganu-born however came in seventh place in Heat 6 of the first round and thus failed to qualify for the semi-finals.
