Tourism Ministry plans special batik collection to promote Malaysia in China

Plans to create a Batik Special Collection Series to bring in more foreign tourists are in the works, says the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry.
During a walkabout of the the roughly 100 vendor booths at the Malaysia Batik Day 2023 celebration event on Sunday (Dec 3), Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said he hoped the fashion series would be the next key step in strengthening ties between the tourism industries of both countries.
