Transport Ministry pushes for women-only e-hailing rides

Following the introduction of women-only train coaches, Malaysia is exploring women-only e-hailing services to enhance passenger safety, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
Speaking at the Wanita DAP congress on Sunday (Sept 6), Loke said he had urged e-hailing providers to allow female passengers to request women drivers.
He also called on Grab to expand its new carpooling feature to offer women-only rides.
