Travellers from 63 countries may use QR code next year, says minister

Travellers from 63 countries and those holding the long-term visit pass might be allowed to use the quick response (QR) code system for Immigration clearance at Malaysia’s borders beginning Jan 1 next year, says Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

Saifuddin said the government is planning to expand the use of the Immigration Department’s QR code system to these travellers.
