Trump reads Zelenskiy's 'letter' and says Ukraine ready for peace and minerals deal

US President Donald Trump, in his State of the Union address to the Congress on March 4, said he had received a “letter” from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in which Zelenskiy expressed willingness to come to the negotiating table over the Russia-Ukraine war and also to sign the minerals deal with the US, after failing to ink the deal and having a spat with the US on Feb 28.
