Tun Daim says BNM kept him in the dark on forex issue

Former Finance Minister Tun Daim Zainuddin on Monday claimed that he had no clue about the alleged foreign exchange trading and major losses in the 1990s as he was not informed by Bank Negara Malaysia. Testifying before the Royal Commission of Inquiry investigating the matter, he said the central bank had not kept him in the loop and related documents were classified under the Official Secrets Act.
