Tun M on Shafee: He’s craving to be AG!

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad claimed that Tan Sri Dr Muhammad Shafee Abdullah badly wanted to be the Attorney General and had come to see him and informed him that the then Attorney General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail could not prosecute Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said this when asked to comment on allegations by Dr Muhammad Shafee that it was the former who pushed him to become the special prosecutor in Anwar's Sodomy II appeal.
