Two Datuks, lawyer charged with forgery in JB

Two Datuks and a lawyer pleaded not guilty for 27 counts of document forgery related charges in a Johor Magistrate's Court on Sunday.
The accused were Johor Police Volunteer Reserve (PVR) commandant Datuk Lee Ban Heng, chairman of a chamber of commerce Datuk Chong Chee Heng and lawyer Danny Loo Kheng Soon.
Chong and Lee were accused of forging dozens of private caveat retraction documents on 27 lots of lands at Mukim Plentong four years ago, while Loo was accused of conspiring with them.
