Two enforcement officers arrested for accepting bribe

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission arrested two enforcement officers on the suspicion of accepting RM2,500 kickbacks from a contractor as an inducement of not taking action on his foreigner worker.
The suspects, aged 58 and 37 years, were arrested in Jasin, Melaka on Monday (May 13) following a report lodged by a 39-year-old contractor who is also the employer of the Indonesian worker who had no valid travel documents.
